Overview

Where Wilderness Still Breathes

The 7-day Ruaha and Nyerere safari unfolds across Southern Tanzania’s most untouched landscapes—where silence is vast, wildlife is unfiltered, and every horizon feels untouched by time. This is not just travel, but immersion into Africa in its purest form.

The Land of Giants – Ruaha

In Ruaha National Park, scale becomes the defining experience. Vast savannahs stretch endlessly beneath baobab silhouettes, where elephant herds move with quiet authority and predators dominate the golden plains. Game drives here feel raw and deeply immersive, offering uninterrupted encounters with Africa’s wildest characters.

Rivers That Shape the Wild – Nyerere

The journey flows onward into Nyerere National Park, where water defines life and movement. The Rufiji River becomes a stage of constant activity—hippos surfacing in slow rhythm, crocodiles resting along sunlit banks, and birdlife filling the air with color and motion. Boat safaris bring a calm, intimate perspective that contrasts beautifully with the open savannahs.

A Journey of Contrast and Connection

Across the 7-day Ruaha and Nyerere safari, the experience shifts between two worlds—dry, dramatic plains and lush, river-fed wilderness. It is a journey shaped by contrast but unified by immersion. Each day reveals something new, yet everything remains connected by the quiet pulse of Southern Tanzania’s wild heart.

🔹 Our prices explained +

Our safari prices are carefully calculated to offer the best value for money while maintaining high standards of safety, comfort, and service. Prices may vary based on the following factors:

Travel season
Safari prices are higher during peak wildlife seasons (June–October and festive holidays) due to increased demand and higher lodge and park fees. Traveling in shoulder or green seasons offers better value with fewer crowds.

Group size
All our safaris are conducted in a private 4×4 safari vehicle with a professional guide. Smaller groups have a higher per-person cost because vehicle and guide expenses are shared among fewer travelers, while larger groups benefit from better per-person value.

Park fees and conservation costs
National park entry fees, crater service fees, and government taxes are fixed costs set by authorities and can change by season or park.

Accommodation selection
Lodge and camp prices vary by season, location, and availability. Migration camps, crater-rim lodges, and beachfront resorts naturally cost more than standard options.

Private safari experience
Unlike shared group tours, our prices reflect a fully private safari experience, allowing flexibility in pace, routing, and wildlife viewing — without compromise.

We price our safaris to ensure fair compensation for our guides, well-maintained vehicles, and reliable operations, while offering travelers an authentic, memorable safari experience.

If you’re traveling with children, in a larger group, or have flexible travel dates, we’re happy to tailor the best possible value for your safari.

Our 7-day Ruaha and Nyerere safari felt like two completely different worlds stitched together perfectly. In Ruaha, what stayed with me most was the silence—no other vehicles, just us watching a pride of lions slowly move through the grass as elephants gathered in the distance. It felt incredibly raw and untouched.

Then Nyerere completely shifted the experience. The boat safari along the Rufiji River was something I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did—gliding past hippos while the sun was setting was honestly one of the most peaceful moments of the trip.

The pacing was just right. We never felt rushed, and the lodges were comfortable without losing that “in the wild” feeling. Our guide was exceptional—he didn’t just spot animals, he explained behavior in a way that made every sighting more meaningful. This wasn’t just a safari, it felt like a deep dive into nature.
