On this remarkable 5 days (4 nights) safari through some of Tanzania’s most renowned national parks you will get to enjoy a personalized safari experience. During game drives you will spot large herds of elephants under the shades of the national park's iconic baobab trees in the Tarangire national park, get amazed by the expanse of the Serengeti plains and its rich biodiversity, spot wildlife (possibly all the big five) in the Ngorongoro crater, the world's only intact and unfilled volcanic caldera before heading on to Lake Manyara national park famous for its tree climbing lions, Maji Moto hot spring which can reach 70°C and thousands of flamingos which gather to breed around the alkaline lake during the summer. Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrive in Arusha
When you arrive in Arusha, a member of staff from Twombili Tours will be waiting for you at the airport, ready to drive you tour your accommodation specially handpicked for you. At your accommodation you will get a quick briefing regarding the next day's plan before you retire to your room for overnight relaxation and anticipation of wild adventures to come.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, your personal driver from Twombili Tours will meet you ready to start a roughly two and a half hours tarmac road trip to Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire park is named after the Tarangire River which across it and it is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. During the game drive in the park, you will spot elephant herds of Elephants from different parts of the park, amassing by the river. You will also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. in close proximity to these wild animals you might spot predators, such as lions and leopards hiding behind thick growth calculating their next move. The park is a must visit for bird watching enthusiasts as it is home to about 500 bird species including the Endangered bird species such as the Steppe Eagle, Martial Eagle, Lappet-faced Vulture, Bateleur, Egyptian Vulture, Secretary bird, Madagascar Pond Heron, Grey Crowned Crane, and Maccoa Duck. The huge and ancient Baobab trees iconic to the Tarangire national park can be seen here and are said to be able to thrive for over 1000 years.
Some of them are said to have lived for more than a thousand years.
You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site inside the park and after your game drive, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater Then Drive to Serengeti
On the third day of your adventurous safari, after breakfast, you will drive up to the breathtakingly beautiful Ngorongoro Crater. The scenic and diverse landscape of the crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife. On the beautiful savannah plains decorated by acacia trees and tranquil lakes and swamps, you will be able to spot wild animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes grazing and possibly lions relaxing under a tree to conserve energy for their next hunt. The park has more than 500 bird species and is also home to the endangered black rhinos. After a fulfilling game drive, you will then drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, to the Serengeti, entering through the south side of the park.

Day 4: Full day Game Drive in Serengeti then Drive to Karatu
Just as its name attests, The Serengeti national park is famous for its vast fresh grass plains which are perfect pasture for a wild variety of herbivores. These herbivores attract predators making the Serengeti a perfect setting for wildlife viewing. Even though the park boasts abundant wildlife, it is arguably best known for the annual Great Migration, where a vast numbers of wildebeest, together with zebras and antelopes move in a pattern annually searching for fresh grazing. The animals are on different places in an area spanning the Maasai Mara in Kenya and the southern end of the Serengeti national park where calving occurs, at different times of the year. Witnessing the great migration truly is an experience that will stick with you for a lifetime. In addition to the beautiful landscapes, during your game drive in the Serengeti national park you are likely to spot predators such as lions, leopards and may be a cheetah on the hunt or just relaxing under the shade of a tree. You will have your lunch at a picnic spot in the Serengeti before resuming your game drive. Late afternoon, you will head back to Karatu, spotting more wildlife on your way!

Day 5: Game Drive in Lake Manyara then Drive to Arusha
An early rise on your last day of the safari. After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park which is about 120km west of Arusha. Wildlife viewing in Lake Manyara national park is unique because everything is a lot closer due to the small size of the park. The park has epic views with the Great Rift Escarpment towering over Lake Manyara’s western boundary. The park is named after a shallow, salt lake which occupies a large area of the park. The lake floods
and dries with the seasonal rains and is home to thousands of waders (including flamingo). It is also home to over 500 other bird species). During your game drive you will see elephants, zebras and wildebeest in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and possibly see the tree-climbing lions which are iconic to the park. You will have your lunch at a picnic spot in the park while enjoying amazing scenic views. At the end of game drive, your game driver will drop you at a destination of your choice within Arusha town before saying farewell hoping you have had a wonderful time during your adventure with Twombili Tours!
