Overview
Mafia, a small, unspoiled island which is a great destination for travelers looking for a relaxed tropical retreat. It is known for its marine life diversity, exceptional diving spots, secluded beaches and very friendly hosts. The island is part of the Zanzibar Archipelago it is surrounded by some of the richest coral reefs in the world. About half of the island’s coastline is crawling with coral reefs, mangrove forests and lagoons hence protected as Mafia Island Marine Park. The island is surrounded by mangrove forests punctuated by beautiful, secluded beaches which make it a perfect place to visit after a busy Safari.
