Overview
Arusha National Park, a small appealing park, located in the northeast of Tanzania, near the city of Arusha. It is known for its beautiful scenery, diverse landscapes, a wide variety of wildlife and mount Meru, The second -tallest mountain in Tanzania. From the park, you get a great view of the Mount Kilimanjaro. It has Tanzania’s largest population of giraffes as well as other animals such as buffaloes, warthogs, zebras, elephants, leopards, bushbucks, hippos, and assorted primates. In addition, the swamps, rainforest and lakes attract many beautiful birds including grey-crowned cranes, the African fish eagle, silvery-cheeked hornbill and thousands of pink-hued flamingos. Arusha national park is also the only place in northern Tanzania where you can easily spot the black-and-white colobus monkey.
