Twombili Tours is Tanzania-based safari company offering tailored safari experiences across Tanzania’s iconic national parks, game reserves, and cultural sites. Our safaris cater to all types of travelers, from luxury seekers to budget adventurers.
Our safaris cover major Tanzanian destinations, including but not limited to Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and the Zanzibar Archipelago.
Yes, most travelers need a visa to enter Tanzania. You can obtain a visa upon arrival at major airports but we strongly advice you apply online before your trip to avoid hassles and inconveniences.
Pricing and Payment Methods
The cost depends on various factors, such as the number of days, level of accommodation, number of travelers, and the type of safari. Contact us for a customized quote based on your preferences.
Our packages typically include accommodation, meals, park fees, game drives, transportation, and an English-speaking guide. Flights, visas, personal expenses, and gratuities are usually excluded unless specified.
We accept bank transfers, major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Skrill and mobile payments (M-Pesa and Airtel Money). A deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the balance payable before the safari begins.
Yes, cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy. Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel. Please check our terms and conditions for details.
Accommodation
We offer a range of accommodations, including budget campsites, mid-range lodges, luxury tented camps, and five-star resorts.
We offer both inside and outside park accommodations. Staying inside the park allows for early morning and late evening game drives, while outside accommodations can offer a more affordable stay.
It depends on your choice of a safari package, Luxury and most mid-range accommodations which are part of Luxury and mid-range safari packages cater to dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal options. Please inform us in advance.
Transport and Transfers
We use custom-designed 4×4 safari vehicles with pop-up roofs for optimal wildlife viewing. All vehicles are well-maintained and driven by experienced guides.
Airport transfers can be included upon request. Please check with us when booking your safari.
Bookings and Reservations
You can book through our website, email, or by calling our customer support team. A deposit is required to secure your booking.
It is advisable to book at least 3–6 months in advance, especially during peak seasons (June to October and December to February).
Yes, we accept last-minute bookings subject to availability. However, for the best experience, early booking is recommended.

While we cannot guarantee sightings, our experienced guides will take you to the best locations where you have a high chance of seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo.
Insurance Policy
Yes, we highly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before embarking on a safari. This should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and any unforeseen circumstances.
No, we do not provide travel insurance, but we can recommend reputable insurance providers to ensure you have adequate coverage.
Your travel insurance should include:
Emergency medical expenses and evacuation.
Trip cancellation and interruption.
Loss of baggage and personal belongings.
Personal liability coverage.
Tipping Guides
Tipping is not mandatory but is highly appreciated as a way to recognize excellent service. Safari guides work hard to ensure you have an incredible experience.
A general recommendation is $10–$20 per day per traveler for guides and $5–$10 per day for camp staff. However, tipping is entirely at your discretion.
Tipping can be done at the end of your safari. It is best to hand the tip directly to your guide or use a tipping box provided at lodges and camps.
